Five Numbers, One You: Your Mizan AI Scores Explained

You open the Fitrah Fitness app in the morning and five numbers greet you. Wellbeing. Activity. Sleep. Mental Wellbeing. Readiness. Each from 1 to 100, each updated daily, each read from the data your phone already collects. No wearable, no manual logging. Alhumdullilah.

But numbers without understanding are just noise, right? So let me walk you through what each score actually is, the way I'd explain it to a sister over tea.

Wellbeing — The Big Picture

Think of this as  is your daily pulse. It gathers your sleep, movement, recovery, and mental patterns into one holistic number. Think of it as the answer to "how am I doing, really?" When it's high, your pillars are working together. When it drops, one of the other four scores will show you why. Start here each morning, then look deeper only if you need to.

Activity — More Than Steps

This score reads the quality and consistency of your movement across the whole day, not just formal fitness workouts. Yes, the walk after Asr counts! Carrying your toddler counts! We constantly remind ourselves, "In movement there is blessings — في الحركة بركة " and this score notices blessings you didn't log. If it runs low for days, your body is asking for more consistent motion, but not necessarily harder sessions.

Sleep — The Foundation

I wrote a full article on the Sleep Score because our sleep as Muslim women deserves its own conversation, from Fajr to Ramadan. The short version: it measures duration, regularity, continuity, and recovery. Guard this one. When sleep is right, every other score gets easier.

Mental Wellbeing — The Quiet One

This is the score I'm most protective of, honestly. It reads your sleep and activity patterns, because the link between physical behavior and mental state is one of the most established findings in behavioral health. Here's why that matters: we are usually the last to admit we're struggling. The data shifts before the mood does. When this score dips, treat it as a gentle tap on the shoulder. Not a diagnosis. An invitation to check in with yourself before a dip becomes a decline.

Readiness — Push or Rest?

The most practical score of the five. It tells you how recovered your body is right now and whether today is a day to push in training or pull back. High readiness? Go for that harder session with confidence. Low readiness? Swap intensity for a walk or stretch, without guilt. This is wisdom, not weakness — strength is built through wisdom as much as effort.

How to Use Them Without Obsessing

Just take one glance in the morning. That's it. Look at Wellbeing, notice anything unusual, read the daily Tip, then live your day. The scores also come with a Fitrah Focus, which is a short faith reflection, because your health was never separate from your deen and your numbers shouldn't be either.

Never let a number shame you. These scores exist to help you understand the amanah you carry, not to grade your worth. Some days the body is strong. Some days it asks for mercy. Both days are part of a well-lived Muslim life. Alhumdullilah for both.
